IUBMB SPECIAL MEETING ON PLANT STRESSES & 6 th. CONGRESS OF FASBMB.
A JOINT EVENT IN MARRAKECH (MOROCCO), APRIL 20-25, 2009
SMBBM GRANTS:
The Moroccan Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SMBBM) will allocate 20 grants for young Researchers (less than 30 years-old) to support their participation in the Joint of Third SMBBM International Congress of Biochemistry, IUBMB Special Meeting on Plant Stresses and 6th. FASBMB Congress. The allocated grants consist in Free registration in the joint event and hotel accommodation (transport not included). The young researchers interested by SMBBM Grants and registred as first author, are asked to provide before January 25, 2009
- A copy of the Student Card or an equivalent
document
- A short CV
- A Letter of appreciation from the Supervisor or the head of the Laboratory
(by fax).
The 20 grants will be allocated as follow:
- 4 SMBBM grants for African, non
Moroccan Young researchers
- 12 SMBBM grants for Moroccan Young researchers members of the
SMBBM to attend the Joint Event of
Third SMBBM International Congress of Biochemistry, IUBMB Special Meeting
on Plant Stresses and 6th. FASBMB Congress.
- 4 SMBBM grants for Moroccan Young researchers members of the
SMBBM to attend the FEBS workshop on Plant resistance to drougth and salinity.

AWARDS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS AND POSTERS
SMBBM AWARDS: Following the example of the last congresses and scientific Meetings organized by SMBBM (http: // smbbm.org / JeunesChercheursSoutiens.html) and to differentiate the best oral presentations and posters from young researchers (less than 30 years old) preparing their Doctorat, The Moroccan Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology awards prizes for the best works. A Commission is charged to select contributions of high scientific level from Young Researchers members of the SMBBM.
Applicants
are asked to provide::
- A copy of the Student Card or an equivalent document. Un texte de de
la communication orale ou affichée (5 pages au plus)
- A short CV
- A text of their work (about 5 pages)

AUTRES APPUI FINANCIERS POSSIBLES
Plusieurs demandes d'appui financiers peuvent être formulées pour participer au Congrès dont celles adressée à l'Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie. Les participants, provenant de pays africains, de l'est de l'Europe et de l'Asie du sud-est, doivent être pré-inscrits au Congrès pour présenter une communication acceptée par le Comité scientifique. Le formulaire de demande de mobilité individuelle qui doit être adressé au bureau régional concerné (Afrique centrale, Europe de l'Ouest et Maghreb...) est disponible sur le site AUF. Les bureaux régionaux sont disponibles sur http://www.auf.org/bureauxregionaux/. Sur demande, nous pouvons envoyer une attestation de proposition de communication pour les bureaux régionaux de l'AUF.
