SCOPE

The Third SMBBM International Congress of Biochemistry (Fifth congress of the SMBBM) will be held at Marrakech city, MOROCCO, during April 20-22, 2009. The aim of this congress is threefold: the first is to review, assess and share information on the most recent scientific and technological advances in the fields of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology related to different topics such as genomics and proteomics, health, Food Biochemistry, biotechnologies and environment. The second is to create the opportunity for scientists from different parts to gather as one community, discuss and share their research findings, and to explore the possibilities of mutual cooperation. The third objective is to support young searchers to participate and exchange their knowledge around this scientific manifestation. Research in different areas of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, in particular applied works, has generated considerable interest among scientists due to many biotechnological applications in health, agriculture and environment.
The last SMBBM International Congress was held in Agadir, Morocco, during the period of May 9-12 May, 2006.
At Marrakech, we hope to host the third international congress (congress V of the SMBBM) in a friendly and informal atmosphere, conducive to discussions and interaction between participants.
